About

Planning software built around the physicist

VeloxAI Medical builds AI-powered treatment-planning software for brachytherapy. Our first product, AutoBrachy, automates the slowest parts of GYN HDR planning — applicator digitization, contouring, and dwell-time optimization — and hands the result to the physicist as an editable draft plan.

HDR planning is done under time pressure: the applicator is placed, the patient waits, and the plan is drawn, optimized, and checked before treatment can start. Automating the repetitive steps shortens that window and lets the clinical team spend it on review and judgment instead of digitization and delineation.

We build with the people who will use the software. AutoBrachy is developed and evaluated with medical physicists at UT Southwestern and UC San Diego, with SBIR funding from the National Cancer Institute — and every stage of the pipeline produces output a physicist can inspect, edit, and approve.
